The Training Programme will take place on every ‘flyable’ Sunday between March and December of each year and between 10am (approx) and 12pm.

The Trainee pilot is responsible for contacting the Duty Instructor before 21:00 hrs on the Thursday before the training is due to take place.  If you just turn up ‘on spec’ you are likely to be disappointed because the Instructor will probably choose not to add you to his group.  The Trainee should contact the Instructor at 9:00hrs on the Sunday if the weather looks at all inclement. There is no charge for training other than £1 per session, per trainee for the Instructor’s fuel.

Absolutely no fee is payable for instruction to the Instructors or other club members.

The club’s trainers are a Tutor 40 with Futaba radio and an OS 46 La.

In addition we have a Kamco Kadet with Futaba Radio and an OS 25 Fp.

There is also a DB Mascot with Futaba radio and 40 size engine and a Classic Sport 40, shown below. It has 2.4 gig radio and an OS 46La.
