Trophies were presented as follows:

Chairman’s Trophy was presented to Richard (Terry) Lomax.

Helicopter Trophy was presented to Chris Marshall who had also recently achieved his BMFA helicopter  ‘A’ certificate as well.

Most Improved Senior Trophy was presented to Mike Beach.

Most Improved Junior Trophy was awarded to Sam Cox who was  not present.

The Scale Trophy was awarded to Neville Polley who was not present.

Committee proposals:

The Committee put forward a motion to the AGM that we invest additional funds in a new mower  storage shed. The requirement was for a solid, secure container to which additional security would  need to be added and the preparation of a solid base on which to place it.  The meeting voted a sum of £1250 for the completion of the task.

The Treasurer  had prepared a submission  to make certain changes to the Society Constitution in order to obtain a benefit from the CASC  (Community Amateur Sports Club) status.  This will allow us to claim a reduction in income tax liability by making subtle changes to the wording of our Constitutional Rules.  It could benefit us by up to a 22% reduction in tax liability.

There were no proposals received from the floor.

There were 33 clubmembers present including 9 members of the Committee.

All Officers of the club gave a report of their activities for 2010 and offered themselves for re-election in 2011.  See Committee page for more details.  

The date of the 2011 AGM was confirmed as December 1st 2011.

The meeting concluded with the Membership Secretary taking 2011 renewals.
